FAQ
Can you incorporate my existing furniture into the design and/or items I have already selected and would like to purchase?
Absolutely! I am happy to incorporate existing pieces of furniture into the design. Personal pieces provide character to a space and tell a story, which I love and encourage! As for items already selected from a retail store, I am also happy to incorporate these into the design. In this case, the client is responsible for purchasing and managing the receipt of the item(s).
Do you have one specific design style, or are you open to accommodating a variety of aesthetics?
I tailor my designs to each client’s unique style and functional needs. My designs reflect a wide range of styles, not just one. This challenges my creativity in the best way and pushes me to think outside the box. I wouldn’t have it any other way!
What is your warranty and return policy?

Will you recommend vendors/trades, or do I need to find my own?
I will recommend my top vendors and trades and will manage each project from start to finish.
How do I know what to budget?
Each client and project is unique, so it really depends on your scope. We can discuss your individual needs to determine a rough budget range upfront.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Colorado, the USA, and abroad!
Can we do this virtually?
Absolutely! If you have access to your home’s floor plans (either hard or soft copies), I can produce all furniture layouts and proposals electronically. We can do as many or as few virtual meetings as you wish throughout the entire process.
What if I don't like the design or want to return items once installed?
We will complete as many iterations of your design proposal on the front end to ensure that you are 100% satisfied prior to execution and purchasing products. Only when we receive your sign-off will we proceed. Regarding returns, please visit our Warranty and Return Policy page on our website.
Are shipping and delivery fees included in the product cost?
No, we charge shipping and white glove delivery service fees (receiving, inspection, and delivery/installation) separately at the time of shipment and delivery of goods. We pass the exact shipping fees from our vendors onto the client with no markup. This is charged through Jaclyn Westland Design. We use an outside company to receive, inspect, store, transport, deliver/install, and dispose of all packaging materials for all products. This company charges the client directly for these “White Glove Delivery” services.
Is there a minimum scope or budget you are willing to take on?
Our minimum design services project fee is $2,000, which is a commitment made following our initial paid in-home design consultation.
